I arise today

I arise today 

held by the greening connection to all budding creation;

I carry it in my body - a sacred gift 
its sap drips from my fingertips.

I arise today surrounded by mystery and revelation, visions manifested, dreams, friendships, my feet on the earth with intention of way-making, the sound of sacred wisdom in my mind and heart.

I arise today with fire and electricity signaling movement under my skin

air stroking my cheek

water hydrating my veins

Earth in my bones.

I arise today with all that I need.

Home surrounds me everywhere I go. 

A garden of possibilities unfolds.

The creatures, who do not know the names of my enemies, remind me to work small like Ant, to move soft and certain like Bear, in packs like Wolf, smart like Fox, slippery like Trout.

I arise today with a body full of love, 
Empires and false powers under my feet
Disillusionment trampled into the dirt 
Compassion for my neighbor, the overlooked, the misled.

I arise by the strength of those who have tread these paths before me, guided by their eternal peace.
