Tarot has been a really engaging way for me to interact with insight, archetypes, prophecy and stations of spiritual growth.
Much like “stations of the Cross” from some Christian traditions, Tarot offers spiritually charged windows into the human (and non-human) experience through a magical lens, yet untethered by religious expectations.
Because I see Tarot this way, it has been meaningful for me to design a few of my own card images based on personal intersections. I don't share these as examples of accomplished art or design, but as expressions which have helped me integrate and name my own changes and dreams.
The last one is the result of trying to capture a vision I had of a new version of myself who I met and merged with. This experience beautifully and surprisingly fit The Magician card and was perfect for the moment.
What is your favorite deck?
I have also begun offering Tarot Divining. This is an opportunity for me to practice spiritual guidance available to the public and detached from my daily administrative duties. This is a way to stay soft.
Feel free to reach out. My sensibilities as a poet and a writer are all connected to the same inspiration.
One of my favorite things to offer as a “Wisdom Wild Card” is a prophetic poem written just for you.
